I love my electric lawn mower. It is light weight and easy for a woman to use. It is much less noisy that a gas mower. It's also more eco-friendly. The first one I owned lasted for eight years so it is cost effective. There is also no gas or oil to mess with. In fact, there is very little maintenance. This model has a cord which makes it lighter than the battery model. The price was also good.Customer Review: Great mower

Bought the mower through amazon a few weeks ago. Mower came quickly. Took about 15 minutes to put it together. Need to get your own heavy-duty extension cord though. The mower works great. It's got plenty of power even though it's electric. Cuts the grass great. Only hassle is the trailing extension cord.
Only negative note is the design of the power inlet - it's for a 2-prong cord. Heavy-duty extension cords are three prong, so it doesn't fit as well and the loop to prevent the cord from pulling free doesn't fit with the bigger plug. But it still fits in the power receptacle, and I just tie the extension cord around the handles.

While it's a challenge to keep from running over the cord, everything about this mower makes me happy! I had been using a non-electric reel mower, but my lawn is just too big. This mower is quiet, easy, and cleaner than a gas mower. Perfect for anyone who wants to use a "greener" alternative to the gas mower but has too much lawn for a reel mower!Customer Review: Great mower!!! I love it!!!!

After struggling to fix my gas mower I decided to go electric. In summary:
Pros: Quiet, 5 min assembly(push handle), no pull starting, no exhaust, VERY easy height adjustment, motor stops almost instantly
Cons: Power cord management
Overall this mower is exactly what I need and I'm sorry I didnt buy it before I bought my horrid gas mower. It was almost surreal to use it for the first time because it was so quiet.
