If you have invested $20,000 or more on your RV... they you should have the Pole Saw. It comes in handy when you find yourself being taken over by low hanging branches!!! I'm a woman, 5'3" and 120 lbs. I wanted something to cut branches on the trees on my property that I could be comfortable handling. This does the job and more. I could handle it no problem and it cuts up to 6" diameter branches. This is not the tool for heavy duty tree cutting jobs but it's not meant to be, it cuts slower than a traditional chain saw and it has it's limits but it was a life saver after the recent ice storm which felled several large branches off a tree in my yard and left another large branch hanging. I was able to cut the hanging branch off and cut the rest into manageable brush. It holds a charge well and I never ran out of power. This was a great purchase and I highly recommend it.Customer Review: Additional safety

My fruit trees will need pruning again this winter. But at age 87 I wish to stay off ladders if at all possible. This cordless pole saw that I purchased from Amazon.com will allow me to stay firmly, and safely, on the ground while I work. An added safety feature for our older generation. I found it lightweight, well balanced, and exactly what I need to get the pruning job done without calling an unfamiliar tree trimmer to do it for me. I have used this pole saw 4times in the little time I have owned it and it has done everything expected and even more. I am no stranger to the B&D brand name and the products have always served me well. I have a gas chain saw which I use when my feet are on the ground but I never ever go up a tree or ladder with it but I do have need to cut limbs I cannot reach so this battery operated pole saw takes care of that need and does it very well and the best part is the price. I've only had an opportunity to use this item once since receiving it. I was really amazed as I'd charged the battery as soon as I received it and did not get an opportunity to use it for a couple of months, due to weather, health, etc. I really expected the battery to run down shortly after I started my trimming, but after about an hour and a half of trimming, I was still 'Good to Go'. I liked the weight and especially the fact I did not have to change into old clothes to use it as I would have done with a gasoline unit. Just follow the instructions and make an undercut on larger limps before making your final cut from the top.
