Manufacturer claims a 15 minute battery life. I bought a NEW Red battery but it worked for about 5 minutes, and less than 10 minutes after a 24-hour recharge cyle. Perfect for the garage. Not too powerful, quiet, and just right for a smooth surface. No cranking or mixing the fuel. Now we men will not have to crank up the blower when we ask our wives to clean up the garage while we sit back and drink beer and watch the game. The broom is quiet which means she will not disturb us while watching the football games and she can finish in the time it takes to gulp down a cold one. It is also lightweight.
