Tools and Hardware Reviews of Black & Decker NS118 18-Volt Cordless Electric Broom Hard Surface SweeperCustomer Review: Black & Decker 18-V Cordless Sweeper Summary: 4 Stars
The product didn't work. When I took it to the repair store they tested it and smoke came from the motor. They ordered another one for me which arrived in seven days. It works fine, but it is best to have two batteries since the charge lasts only about 10 minutes.
Customer Review: Black & Decker 18-Volt Cordless Broom Hard Surface Sweeper #NS118 Summary: 4 Stars
Very helpful tool for around the house. The battery will last a couple of minutes of running time. That will give you enough time to leaf-blow a small area or small back yard. The only drawback in addition to a low battery life, is no ability to vary speed of airflow. I recommend buying it for small areas only.

I've owned the Black & Decker 18-Volt Cordless Electric Broom for almost a month now and no complaints thus far. The charge does hold for a long time and the power is constant however it would be nice if it was more powerful but then again it's lightweight and priced reasonably.
Customer Review: Black & Decker 18-volt Cordless Broom #NS118 Summary: 5 Stars
In dusty Denver, Colorado, I needed to sweep my balconies and driveway apron almost daily, and clean my garage floor too. Tiring of using a broom, I decided a leaf blower-like device would be ideal, but the extension cord all seemed to require was a bother. Then I discovered the B&D cordless machine, which the makers choose to call a cordless broom.
It works wonderfully for my purposes. I use it daily for about 4-5 minutes and get at least 4 days usage between charges. Because it comes with a charger and two batteries, I always have a freshly charged battery on hand.
I recommend this wholeheartedly for the kind of light duty I use it for.

For a very light-weight piece of equipment, this does a great job. Batteries don't last long, but you always have a spare in the recharger.
