This cordless trimmer will suffice for extremely small yards (think townhomes) without thick growth needing to be trimmed. This unit comes with two batteries, but both batteries need to be FULLY charged before starting a project. If you start a project, and place a charged battery in the trimmer, and a discharged battery in the charger, you will have about 20 minutes of runtime on the first battery, and will have at least another 45 minutes to wait before the second battery is ready for use.Customer Review: Awful!!

I have used it to trim my large yard about 3 times. The two batterys last just long enough for me to finish all my trimming after mowing. I didn't want to drag a cord around and a gas one was more then what I needed. So if you want something to finish up your mowing this is for you. If you plan to do a lot of weedwacking get a corded or gas one. Its length and handle can be adjusted to fit your height. I'm 6' 1" and I can stand up straight using this model at full extension. The downside is the batterys need a long charge so plan to use the batterys only once per day and let them recharge overnight. Unit was easy to assemble. Only a couple of items to put together. Lots of power and more then enough run time to trim my 1/2 acre lot with the two batteries. Best for regular grass and not heavy weeds. Unit is very light. Automatic line advance works great and speeds up the chores. Would purchase again and recommend
