This vacuum works great and is completely functional. The only problem is that this manufacturer is still using the ancient Ni Cad battery technology, the same as on the old Dustbusters. Get with it B & D. For no more in production costs, you could install NiMH batteries which would give over 50% more run time.Customer Review: Battery life WAY too short

This vacuum is versatile and can pick up most of what we need it to pick up. But the pros really end there. If you have a job requiring more than 15 minutes of use, forget it, the battery will start sputtering even on a full 21 hour charge after about 10 minutes of use on the high setting. I guess maybe its good for making you a quicker cleaner...
