For the price, I am not sorry I bought this trimmer. It is very underpowered, and for trimming the edge of the grass around my mobile home it now takes me twice as long as my last trimmer. But, it works! When cutting the grass that was vining up my irrigation pipe (a ritual of mine), the bottom spool came flying off. Not very reassuring. It popped back on, and works fine, but wow, this thing can't take anything but plain not too thick grass.Customer Review: A little wonky, but....

Another tool purchased specifically for my strawbale work, this little gem is the perfect weight and size for trimming off the fluff & chaff from bale walls, even overhead.
The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is due to it feeling a bit wobbly after assembly and the hold-down for the extension cord is too small for the heavy duty cords we use so we have to wrap the cord around the inside of the handle; not show stoppers, by any means.

With a $25 gift certificate I got this for less than $10. It was well worth it. I am trying my best to get rid of needless gas motors because two ATVs, a lawn tractor and a mower is more than enough to maintain. I also wanted something that was very light so my wife could use it.
I have 3/4 of an acre of lawn and don't mind using cords to get where I need to. This little trimmer does everything it should. I easily trim around my raised garden beds and this unit is very good for precise trimming around flower beds, etc. The line feed is very easy to use.
I had no issues with shipping, the unit worked and still does. The best part is the local Home Depot had spare line reels for it. Try that with my old Home Lite gas trimmer. It was impossible to find parts.
I'm very happy with this purchase.

This is a great, inexpensive trimmer. HIghly recommended for trimming long grass along the edges of your yard and trees. I would not recommend this if you are planning on trimming lots of hearty weeds because it isn't very powerful, but it works great for grass and sure beats using a hand clipper!
