This product seems to be well made, with a battery compartment that is easy to use.
It is easy to use and sensitive to temperature differences.
The colored spot LED makes it easy to find surfacers with different temperatures.
The actual temperature readout is useful and easy to read.
B&D surprised me with a valuable consumer product.
But I will not need to use it very often.

This product works well and is simple to use. Just takes a little practice. I've noticed a considerable drop in the number of drafts around doors and window. The Black & Decker TLD 100 thermal leak detector does a good job of finding leaks where air is going out of the house as a temperature change. It also identified a hot spot in the ceiling, where insulation was not properly installed, allowing hot air to escape through the ceiling. This is a very good product for identifying leaks or hot and cold spots in the home. I can tell where insulation is needed in the walls because the colored lights change with the temperature. I have found numerous leaks around my home with the leak detector. I would recommend this piece of equipment to anyone who is trying to reduce air penetration into their home.
