The product works well but is of limmited use. The variance in temperature can be higher than +_5%. Unlike conventional thermal imagers, this thermal leak detector cannot be used to measure temperatures higher than 300 degrees farenheit. This is a great little gadget. I have identified and corrected the areas of heat loss around the home. Under the window moldings and around the attic access and around the boiler etc. I see a reduction in the oil usage and the house is warmer.Customer Review: Great Heat Loss Detector

This product worked just like it said it would. I was able to narrow down where some of my heat was escaping. I'm excited to compare next years heating bill with this year so I can see just how much I'm saving. This product was definitely worth the money.
