This is an excellent product with many fail safe features during a power outage or camping. Run time with both hi intensity lamps is about 15-20 minutes with a visibility length of several football fields illuminated. If you run the battery down during a night hike the 3 LED lamps in the handle will get you home safely. You may also run D/C items off the lighter plug in the handle such as a small TV or power inverter in case of an outage of power in your home. Very durable chassis and replaceable rechargeable 6 volt sealed cell batteries.

Customer Review: Fishers & Foxes & Coyotes, Oh My! Now, I can see what's lurking out there...

I needed something bright and strong enough to clearly show what's out in the bushes and what's up in the trees. (Fishers climb trees.) I live in a spot that's not extremely rural, but every now and then a stray wild animal comes around, and it's dark, here. At night, it can be hard to know if it's just the neighbor's cat or something potentially more threatening, if you can hear the rustling of the leaves and grass but not see what's there.
I am very happy with this light, and I've used it going between house and car several times in the dark. (So far, so good -- not too much to see!) I like that there's the lower-powered 'normal' light, too, above the floodlights, so that if I just need that, I've got it.
Yes, this light is a bit heavy, but, then again, it's got some power behind it. And, it's not awkard to move around or use. the attachable strap can help, for one thing.

This is a great light. It is a little heavy and bulky compared to the 3 million candle power one by the same company which I am replacing rather than buy new batteries at almost 75% of the cost of the light. It really shines and the little light is nice also. The switches are better than the other light because they stay on, but the cover over them is going to have to go. Overall this is a great product at a reasonable price.Customer Review: Great Light But several issues!

I brought this light and took it overseas. The charging takes forever? Camon for 20 to 30 minutes of light? It takes forever to charge this light. If you're overseas you don't have the luxury of the USA power grid. Power goes out frequently. Also it seems even after 20 to 30 hours of charge the charge is never full. Also when you add a 220v to 120v transformer it seems like the light is not charging. You guys made an excellent light but make it adaptable worldwide! It will be a great success because the light is great!
