Customer Review: Low quality but bright!

Don't expect this light to be high tech. And it is huge. Good: the light is bright and thoroughly illuminates areas more than a quarter mile away. Very impressive. Bad: this is a mass-market item, with poor attention to user needs. The main light switches are hidden under a plastic protector that is very difficult to access. I suggest you break off the protector. Good: the separately-switched filaments are a great backup if one fails. Bad: the beam is quite jagged, irregular; the resulting lit area has large areas of unlit zones. Conclusion: This light gives me the intense light I want, but it is definitely not a Streamlight.Customer Review: Most Powerful Flashlight in the World

This flashlight is awesome! Sure, it's over 10lbs, but it's the brightest flashlight on the market and it can visibly light things up at over a mile away. And, according to some calculations that I did, it would be visible from over 300 miles away!! It'll only be as bright as a star at this distance, but nevertheless it will be visible. (I did these calculations by measuring the beam's spread angle, the total lumens in the beam, and the lux of a star).
Build quality is excellent. All parts of the body are durable, switches are built to last, and the shoulder strap has strong mounting points.
With both beams turned on you can only get 20 minutes of runtime, but with just one beam on you can get upwards of 40 minutes. Also, there is a 3-LED light on the top of the handle which will last several days straight, and which is itself quite bright.
One other really cool feature is that this flashlight acts as a 12-volt cigarette lighter outlet. So, if you need to power one of your car accessories somewhere other than in your car then you can plug it into this flashlight.

Wow! When you turn this spotlight on, it is incredible!
Keep in mind, though, the reason it is so powerful is dual headlights, so to speak. Two side by side lamps will always be more powerful. But, that ends up as a feature to go to one lamp to save power.
You will also like the car lighter output socket, which allows external devices to be powered. Works well for camping trips.

I like strong spotlights. I purchased the 20 million candlepower Vector expecting great things. I was very disappointed to see the beam was nowhere as bright as my 10 million candlepower spotlight. When I complained to the manufacturer, they replied that "brightness was a matter of personal oppinion." What a stupid response. That is akin to saying that a 100 watt light bulb is no brighter than a 50 watt light bulb. Careful of this product, you will be disappointed.Customer Review: Not Impressed

Product appeared to have been used out of the box... and the housing was cracked. The light output was all over the place and no direct beam. That I did not care for. Extremely heavy and bulky. If you like carrying around an automobile light with the housing then this light will please you. Although, if you prefer exact lumen output, then you will be disappointed with this.
