We live on about 1 acre of property. At about 1 am we turned on this big bad boy light for the first time to locate our ever gopher hunting dog, it really shocked and kind of embarrassed us because of the width and depth of the brightness with both beams blazing. The empty 5 acres behind us lit up and we could see the true daytime colors of the trees, bushes and weeds. The dog was shocked and responded. We were shocked, the neighbors thought something big might be happening and started locking their storage and car doors. Now we use the LED lights and if the dog doesn't come right away, we use full power ( sort of like calling for your dog then yelling at it if it doesn't respond ) Works for us.
