Customer Review: All blue bags suck. These don't suck any more than most

Blue bags are notoriously weak and easy to rip--it is the nature of the blue colored plastic. So if you are switching from one brand to another in search of one that is as strong as a black plastic bag, don't bother. You just won't find it.
These bags are not bad. They hold up as well as any blue bag. They are super cheap, which I appreciate. They generally function just fine. The opening of the bags is not cut particularly well or consistantly, so you have to work a bit to open the bag. The bottom of the bag is sealed at one point, rather than being an "envelope" style, which makes them slightly unattractive looking. But frankly, who cares? They are recycling bags. They are inexpensive. And they fall apart at about the same rate as the expensive bags, when get through this box (which will take me about two years, at this rate) I will probably buy them again,
