Tools and Hardware Reviews of Blue Ridge Feather and Down Comforter, KingCustomer Review: Regretting purchase Summary: 1 Stars
I was taken in by the inexpensive price of this down comforter. It is full of stiff feathers with very little "fluff". I will buy alternative downs from now on.
Customer Review: Snuggle up with this goose Summary: 5 Stars
This is perfect for those frigidly cold winter nights... It definitely keeps the heat in for warm comfort... Was even able to lower my heat down 6 degrees more, in the winter, due to having this blanket. A must have...
Customer Review: Surprisingly warm and light at the same time Summary: 3 Stars
This is one super warm comforter! I normally sleep hot, and within just a few moments of sliding underneath this comforter, my bed is toasty no matter how cold the room. It certainly does have the "rustling paper" sound that other reviewers have mentioned, but I don't find that distracting (I sleep with a fan on to create white noise, anyway). It's perfect to take on a road trip, because it's not bulky at all.
I have noticed that it doesn't "breathe" as much as I would like. Because I get so warm underneath, it causes me to sweat a bit, and the comforter tends to trap that inside.
Customer Review: Up with this Feather and Down Comforter! Summary: 5 Stars
For $30, this was a great buy. It's very warm and very light and looks well-constructed. My only negative comment would be that it is dry clean only.
Customer Review: Warm, but leaks feathers often Summary: 5 Stars
This was a great buy for a queen-size bed as I've found that the queen/full size comforters don't do it for two people. However, you should know that like many feather and/or down comforters, even very well-made ones, the feathers tend to leak out of the casing. This effect can be reduced with an appropriate comforter cover.
