I picked this set up for $12 a couple weeks ago and am amazed at the what I got, the small pruners would cost more than $12 at the local box store. I have used the loppers and the the small pruners and find them to be of good quality, I only wish I would have picked up a couple more sets at that price.
The loppers will cut through an inch thick branch if it is green. They struggle a little on the dry branches but for the price I will never complain as I have already gotten my money's worth out of them. I highly recommend this set even at the $17 price point, sure, the loppers are not as strong as the longer wooden handled ones, but some of them cost nearly $100. Great bargain and two thumbs up from me, I bought another item and the whole mess shipped for free with no sales tax. Booya!
