12-Volt Litheon Batteries for Long-Lasting Power
The PS20-2A gets its power from Litheon batteries, the most advanced lithium-ion batteries available today. These batteries allow more battery charges and provide longer runtime with no memory effect--meaning the batteries don't need to be empty before charging. The batteries can also be taken out of the charger before charging is complete.

Other benefits include: significantly less self discharge; electronic cell protection that guards against overheating, overload, and deep discharge; and no loss of power from the first to last screw or hole. Best of all, these batteries will fully charge in 30 minutes and will be at 85% capacity in just 15 minutes.

Measuring only 6.0 by 6.5 inches--nearly half the size of stick drivers and other ultra-compact drills/drivers--and weighing just 1.8 pounds (with batteries), the PS20-2A packs a punch without taking up too much space. Its compact design makes it easier to drill straight holes at high and otherwise odd angles, allowing you to accomplish a day's worth of professional drill/driving tasks without excessive fatigue. This powerful tool provides over 100 in./lbs. of torque--25% more torque than comparable models--for ultra-efficient driving and drilling. It drives 100 three-inch screws (per battery charge) and drill holes up to 1/2-inch in diameter. The PS20-2A also offers variable speeds up to 500 RPM--25% more speed for fast, reliable results.

10+1 Clutch with Max Setting for Improved Control
The 10+1 clutch system, similar to that of standard drills/drivers, offers 10 drives and one "Max" drill setting for control and precision, while eliminating over-torque in soft-base materials. The Max setting also allows for pilot and other small bore holes. For added convenience, the 10+1 controls are conveniently located at the front of the drill, so it's a snap to make quick adjustments.

Ergonomics and Soft Grips for Long-Term Comfort
Besides its light weight, the PS20-2A boasts great ergonomics and soft grips to deliver comfort over extended periods, giving you the freedom to work all day without over-taxing your wrists and hands. And it's easy to keep bits handy, thanks to the tool's "Clic-Change" bit holder, which also makes 1/4-inch hex shank bit changes quick and easy.
