perfect for the beginner! with feather boards and easy adjustments even the clumsy can make a good job of it. if the table was deeper, so you could use a feather board in the miter guide on wider pieces of wood, and if there was more adaptability in the router mounting plate it would be even better. I found, despite the large quantity of holes in the plate, most routers all only fit one set of holes, or none at all. Still it made me look good!

I've read some horror stories about tools arriving with broken or cracked parts, but I lucked out with the Bosch router table. Packaging was intact and the unit was protected relatively well. My only concern with this product was the aluminum table top was not level out of the box. There was a small strip, approx 1in X 10in immediately to the right of the opening where the insert plate sits, machined higher than the rest of the side. The gap was minimal enough to slip a piece of paper under the level, where the rest of the table and aluminum insert was nice and tight. Most people might not have worried about it, but I was looking for uniformity throughout. I spent a couple of hours grinding and sanding to get the unit level. For a brand new out of the box table, this should have been perfected at the factory. Assembly was pretty straight forward, directions in the manual were well laid out and easy to follow. The insert plate holes lined up with my Porter Cable base, the threaded screws provided by Bosch fit perfectly. I just had to re-drill the hole in the insert plate to fit the table-top depth adjusting tool of the router. With the additional 2 feather boards, aluminum fence, dust collector attachment, an on/off switch that can accommodate 2 plug ins and a slot for a miter gauge, Bosch has put together a reasonably priced router table.
Amazon's packaging was good and their shipping was fast.

Check the table for flatness when you get it! My first one had a high spot about an inch to the left of the table insert. I returned it and the second one did also. I called Bosch and after some time it turns out that they had some production errors. Bosch customer service was very good. I like the design of the table. Hopefully it will work well, but I have had to spend 3 or 4 hrs trying to get a table that works.
PS Look at the bottom of the table for 3 digits in red. My table was batch 787.

The base is a little flimsy and the assembly seemed a bit loose. The table, fence, dust hood, featherboards, and inserts make this table a great value. I did not like the powerswitch which is a little cumbersome to use. If I had the time I would have just built my own cabinet and purchased a professional lift for micro adjustments. Overall I would recommend this router table to people on a budget with simple needs for routing.
