The rear extention is a great addition to the table saw for ripping long stock or plywood. As another reviewer noted, I did have to elongate the holes to allow for ajustment of the fence upwards when at full extension.
This is my first time purchasing Bosch tools (see my other reviews) and I am somewhat disappointed. Bosch has good ideas but little common sense (like elongating the holes). It was a bother correcting their oversight, but as a DIYS'er, it was just another challenge. The end result was worth the effort.

Bolts on easily. Supports well after the cross bar is redrilled to align the support with the table. It is 1/2" low to the table when at full extension. Only one thumbscrew included for locking position but both brackets are drilled and tapped for it.
Must be careful when cutting 4x8 sheets as the saw can tip with this support at full extension and the board hanging off it.

Works great when ripping long stock. It may sag a little when ripping 3/4" plywood but for ripping a 2x4 it works great. The extension has a thumb screw to keep it locked in place which is needed when collapsing the saw for storage.Customer Review: Bosch Table Saw

This was my husband's 60th birthday present. He had researched all types of table saws and this came out as by far the best. He's in love with this thing.
