Bolts on easily. Thats where the good ends. At full extension, the support bar is 1/2" low to the table. When push in, the front extension rod hits the right side table extension lever. No thumbscrews for locking it at extension or any position. Poor design. I emailed Bosch and they said that is the way it was designed. ?????? I redrilled the support bar to align it to the table, then I drilled the aluminum brackets for thumbscrews and it works acceptably.

I must say, I love my Bosch table saw. I have the model 4000-09, saw with the portable wheeled stand, and there isn't a better combo on the market.
I first purchased the outfeed support (rear extension), which is worth every penny.
So I decided to add the left extension to the saw as well. I really like it except when I stand the saw on its side for storage, the extension will fall down. That is the only draw back (although it is a big deal). The rear feed extension has a set screw which holds it in place, this one doesn't. I have to use small bungies to hold it in place while in storage or not in use.
If you ever cut a sheet of plywood or even half a sheet of plywood, you will be pleased with the purchase.

I found it to work great for me. Was uncertain if I needed such a thing for my table saw. Have found it very useful. Others mentioned some adjustments to cure a sag problem. On mine it has elongated holes so I can compensate for any sag that may occur. Perfect! Was quick and easy to install.Customer Review: Works great, however...

It works great and as expected; however, the saw will not allow you to slide the extension all the way in. The extension hits on the table locking mechanism (red handle on front) and leaves 4 to 5 inches sticking out. Works well, however placement does not allow for the left side support to be in the closed position while operating the saw should you not need it. This is because the left support interfers with the saws right side extention lock while either is in the closed position.
