Tool Review: Good for a start, but after a while....

I brought this Brita pitcher 2 Christmases ago, and have used it ever since. However, be warned, you might have the problems I have been having. Basically, the whole top of the pitcher is broken. The little plastic piece that you open to put water in the filter broke and fell off about 6 months after I got the pitcher. Now I have to buy a new one. So be warned and try not to handle the thing too roughly, because it can't take any abuse. Of course, it still filters water, but it's a hassle just to get it out of the 'fridge.
