I don't know how it is with other people, but my filtered water tastes nastier than without the filtering.
So, I was having the assumption that this super awesome filter would also filter out the nasty chlorine flavor but it seems to not be able to do so. I do not recommend this product if you live in NV!

I use this at my office. Fill it with tap water and I have all the water I need for the day. Great taste -- better than the bottled water I had been drinking. I'm also not contributing to the landfill problems any longer.
The water passes through the filter faster than I expected. There's no meaningful delay as some would have you think.

Living in Central Florida(Orlando)for sixteen years I could not drink tap water. Then by the advice of a friends recommendation to try a Brita. I figured the initial cost would be justified over the years through savings on bottled water. I was skeptical at first, but with the very first use, fresh tasting water was my experience. I was amazed that I got no side affects that I usually got from drinking tap water. No more foul taste or odor! This model is adaquate for one or two people. It is best to fill it before bedtime every night so to keep a fresh supply. It is a slow process, but the filter captures most impurities. Do we really know what we get when purchasing pricey bottled water? With a little more effort you can bottle your own supply of water. The Brita Atlantis is worth every penny I paid for it, and you can't say that about much these days. Customer Review: Glad I bought it

I followed the prep directions regarding soaking the filter before using it and I've had no problems with charcoal residue in the filtered water. There's a significant difference in taste between what I used to drink straight from the faucet and the filtered water. I recommended this product to my daughter and her family and to friends who questioned its necessity.Customer Review: Not bad ...

I'm a recent college graduate and am living on my own, so the pitcher's just right for me. I wouldn't recommend it for a big household as the pitcher only logically holds half a gallon or so at a time.
