Tools and Hardware Reviews of Brita 42609 Pitcher Replacement Filters, 10-PackCustomer Review: Product description off base Summary: 1 Stars
I was looking specifically for Brita filters that filter out Lead. The product review stated twice that this model removed Lead. When I recieved the package the side panel didn't mention anything about removing Lead. I returned it to Amazon and won't buy filters from Amazon anymore.
Customer Review: Replacement Filters Summary: 4 Stars
Not much to review here. I did find this filter to be a perfect fit to the old Brita pitcher which I no longer used because the filters (number obsolete) were hard to locate. Glad I saved and bought a 10-pack for my new pitcher and now have two working pitchers for different locations.
Customer Review: The Brita filter Summary: 5 Stars
Have been using Brita filters on and off for years, depending on where I am living at the time. Up until recently, I have never really felt the need to filter New York Tap. However, I began to detect a funny odor and taste; and a few comments from my husband and a friend finally pushed me to acquiesce. As in past cities I've inhabited, such as Chicago and Austin, I have been quite happy with The Brita. Greatly appreciate the product.
Customer Review: The best price I coud find Summary: 4 Stars
I chose 4* just without much knolegde how godd it is. Flavor of the water with this filter is somewhat different. you would have to make some chemical tests in order to find out how good this product is. My wife likes it and I just belive that this makes your water somehow better.
Customer Review: What else can I say: it does what its supposed to Summary: 5 Stars
Does what it's supposed to. I only drink Brita Filter water in my apartment because the water from the faucet is usually brown with minerals and tastes horrible. I got this 10 pack for $33 shipped. Best price ever. Supermarket sells these things for $6 or $7. I got mine for $3.30 each.
