Lower cost than the OEM filter replacement, and also much better pressure/volume... at first. Ultimately, the pressure decreases with time and requires replacement sooner than the OEM filter. So it may be somewhat of a tossup. At least this filter seems generally easier to find than the OEM filter.Customer Review: Great Filter for Less!

We've been using this filter for a few weeks now and it works great. While the connection to the fridge doesn't 'feel' solid, it is securely fastened to the fridge and we love it. Pick it up from Amazon if you need a replacement, this was the cheapest I could find online!Customer Review: KenI

Pressured up after putting in. Took back off and relived pressure since the water was not coming out. Put back in and it worked. Water is good.
