I have been using my Brita water pitcher for years and have always loved the result of great tasting water at a great price. When buying the filters here, be aware the larger packs are not always the cheapest per unit. When I looked to make my purchase, the 10 pack followed by the 3 pack were the cheapest per filter. I received a five-pack of Brita filters less than a week after purchasing. I knew what I wanted, and got what I wanted.
Straight up, five filters. What more can I say? Beats tap water, especially for brewing tea, coffee.
Loose carbon is a natural effect during shipping, cannot complain since there is a warning of this on filter package. Cannot complain. Does not affect taste or contaminate water when pouring. Cannot complain. Five stars. Great Deal.

Saw it in Jewel-Osco at $9 each! I've been using this since I moved to Chicago. The water here can really kill without filtering.
