This range hood moves plenty of air for our needs (it does move fewer CFS than some other models - which might be an issue depending on how you cook). It was easy to install and works as promised (I am using the top 7" round vent option). My only complaint is that the box isn't well padded, so the hood arrived with a dent on the front. It's too heavy to bother shipping back for something that is only cosmetic, but it was disappointing. The light cover isn't very fancy, but we bought some of the smaller compact florescent bulbs and one fit under the cover with no problems. The plastic vent cover for the front is a bit tricky to snap on, but once I figured it out it wasn't loose at all (it sits on the hood without being snapped into place, which may explain the complaint of another reviewer). I love the simplicity of this hood, and the number of installation options. Overall, it looks and works as I had hoped and I can still talk easily while the fan is on.Customer Review: What Horrible Service

I have no idea how the hood functions because it arrived so damaged. Listen to all of the above comments on the condition of items received from this company, they are very TRUE!! I took a chance even though I read the reviews and probably got the hood that someone else described above. Banged and dented and scratched. Delivery box was so flimsy and hood was packed terribly. AND... you could tell that it had been sent somewhere else first. It had another packing slip in it from 2 months before I ordered ours. Don't purchase from these people. To be fair, I did return it without any problem but I had to return it and that was problem enough and I was stuck with a hood filter from a different vender that would not take it back w/o me paying shipping because there was no problem with the filter. But what do i need that filter for now? To ship the filter back was more than the filter cost.Customer Review: range hood
