Tools and Hardware Reviews of Brushed Aluminum Wall Tiles SquareCustomer Review: Looks great, but doesn't stick with provided stickies Summary: 4 Stars
These tiles look really great, but unlike other reviewers, I had a problem getting them to stick. They come with double sided sticky squares which are easy to use, but the tiles started loosening/lifting after just one day. Per some of the other reviews, I just purchased some liquid nails and hope that will do the trick. They seem to be easy to clean which is a plus in the kitchen. Just need to solve the sticking problem, and I'll be all set!

Customer Review: Peel & Stick Decorative Wall Tiles (4 colors available) Summary: 4 Stars
These light-weight, low cost, easy-to-clean metallic tiles are a breeze to install and the end result is visually rewarding.
In order to achieve a pattern similar to that depicted in the photograph, you need both square AND triangular tiles. I chose two finishes: brushed aluminum and copper and bought squares and triangles in both finishes.
Before beginning, I tried various patterns by laying the tiles out on a flat area. This provides a good idea as to how the finished area will look later.
I changed the pictured layout a little, using only the brushed aluminum triangles for the bottom border (and, in the case of my cooktop backsplash which is less than 12" high, also the top border). The right and left edges require both colors. After attaching the aluminum triangles for the full 60" width, I was ready for the next row. I installed the square tiles in the diamond shape so that the bottom "point" fits snuggly into the space created by the triangular borders. Alternate the squares by color: copper-aluminum-copper-aluminum, etc. With a little effort, a pair of scissors, and a few pieces of paper to make patterns for the areas that cannot accommodate a full tile, your end result will surely please you.
The pattern I chose required more aluminum triangular tiles than any other, so be alert when deciding how many sets you need.
These tiles are not "peel & stick" in the usual sense in that the adhesive is not already affixed. Instead, the adhesive - little sticky-back cushioned tape patches - comes in small squares which are placed at various points on the back of each tile, the protective backing is removed, and the tiles are pressed into place so that they properly adhere to the wall.
All-in-all, for the modest price, these tiles are a good buy. A little creativity in your layout can result in a beautiful do-it-yourself backsplash for people who are not so handy in the do-it-yourself area. One of the more pleasant aspects of this kind of tile is the lack of dealing with messy thinset and grout required by ceramic tiles.
I am so pleased with what I have already done that I am ordering more sets to continue carrying out the theme in two other areas of my kitchen.
Customer Review: SOOOOOOO Easy Summary: 5 Stars
What a great way to update your kitchen without spending a lot of money. This is so easy to do. I did it without much swearing. Very nice looking. I only used the double sided tape that came with the tiles and they are still hanging. I did sand the wall before hand though because I had used semi gloss paint in the kitchen.
Customer Review: Stainless Steel Update Complete Summary: 5 Stars
I just completed putting the brushed aluminum up on my backsplash in the kitchen and it looks awesome. It looks like stainless steel. I put it on the diamond angle and it really looks classic. It was a good buy, easy to work with--you can cut it with shears and installs very easily. I would recommend this to my friends.
