I bought the 96" tall screen from smarthome for our 8 foot door. It is a 1/2 inch too short by the time the spring bar is in place and it fits snugger than I would like width wise. However, it works and keeps flying bugs out if the tension bar is tightened enough to keep our strong winds from knocking it down. We may have to put up brackets to hold the bar in place because our wind can gust to 60mph in the spring. I placed it outside the weather stripping so that it can be left in place and the door closed when we leave. I need a ladder to put it up on our tall doors and won't take it down until winter.
I need a wider 8ft tall screen for our other doors but I believe I can buy the screening and tension bars to make our own with some straight stitching or fabric glue for the cut edges. I do like the one I bought and would (and did) recommend it to a friend.
