If I could give this 0 stars I would have. It didn't seem like it was cast iron to me. It felt too light to be cast iron, and it had a very chemically smell. Perhaps it was sprayed with some kind of coating or special metal type of paint, I don't know, but it surely didn't look cast iron. There was no way you were going to get me to grind any sort of grain in that thing and then expect me to put it into my body...I returned it right away. The seller gave me a full refund for the price of the item with no hassle, but of course no one ever refunds the shipping and handling, which was about 2/3 the cost of the mill...ugh...I guess it's true, you really do get what you pay for. A good grain mill can go for a couple hundred dollars...
