I have both old code and rolling code doors, this unit fills the bill. Read directions carefully and follow directions which can be a little complex because this is a universal transmitter. Watch the metal tab that holds unit to visor the edge is sharp and can cut the headliner if it contacts it. bend the tab or put a piece of clear vinyl tubing over the end to avoid cuts.Customer Review: A+

I selected these remotes because my house unfortunately came with no garage door remotes. I had to find a universal one and fortunately I came upon this brand. They are easily programmable and reliable. BUT
1) Batteries are drained within a year
2) You better be in direct sight to guarantee that the signals are transmitted.
Perhaps my expectations are too high, but I am ultimately content with this product

This worked for one of my two openers. The packaging says works on "ALL" openers. "All" is even in large bold letters. I purchased this to replace a remote that is falling apart. It did not work with my Overhead Door model 556 so I will have to continue to use a pretty ugly remote. It did work with my Overhead Door Legacy. I'll return this remote because I'm trying to eliminate having two remotes. The directions are really tough to follow for certain things. Hopefully they have re-worded some of it by now.
It's a nice size unit. It feels solid, sturdy. Easily changeable watch battery. The programming directions are a little bit rough. If this worked for both openers, it would have been a 5 star rating. I'm really bummed that it didn't work.:(
