After reviewing the brands and models we chose this belt drive. It took my son and I about 3 hours to replace a chain drive with this unit and we're pretty mechanical. It's really no big deal to do it yourself. Add an extra hour if you have to install it with mounting hardware.

It is extremely quiet. The exterior opener is a great feature. Programming the buttons in an MDX and Pilot is very easy. One pro or con is that the light turns on if someone walks into the garage. That's great if your kid is out at night and comes home. It's not so great if you have dogs that go in and out. That's a very minor issue, though.

I'd highly recommend this unit, for $214, and it arrived within 3 days.

This opener was the first one I ever installed. I managed to get it installed and working the first time. This opener was easy to program and install. When it is operating it is very quiet compared to other openers. I would definitley reccomend this opener. Just be aware that you will probably need to provide some angle metal for mounting and door reinforcement. No openers I have seen come with these items so it is not a bad thing.

Installed one at our lake cabin to replace and old one and was very impressed at the ease of install. And it is very quiet! Works very well, easy to adjust, easy to program the remote openers. Liked it so much I purchased another to go in my new garage at home.
