Product is as described except for LED color. I have a Tivo with a GREEN LED sitting below this clock. The clock LED is not what I would call green -- more like canary yellow. Just let me list cons of this clock, since it has almost no "pro"-s:
1. Indication is not GREEN, it's YELLOW.
2. Indicator is not a 7 segment LED. It is just painted like that, and inside each segment there are 2 yellow leds, nicely visible.
3. There's no built in crystal oscillator, this unit takes frequency from AC line (Silan Semiconductors SC8560 IC is used). This means, if you're in rural area with less stable frequency in AC line, you most likely will have 10 minute error per week. (Manufacturer saved $0.20 by not installing crystal oscillator inside). My grandpa's cuckoo clock had much more accuracy!
4. When on battery backup, indicator is NOT enabled, and also, clock starts to mess up the time wildly.
5. Overall build quality is very bad, with most screws missing, plastic having bad odour and so on.
I wanted to have reliable LED clock, so this is why I paid so much for it. But all I've got is the same quality and features, I can get for $2 at chinese fleamarket. So, Be careful when buying this clock.

After reading some reviews against purchasing this clock, I decided to buy it anyway. My fears were unfounded. This is an extremely good timepiece with a large green display. The displayed time in a darkened room is bright enough for a "nite light".
It was received after only two days from Amazon, well packagaed.
My only advice to a prospective buyer is to remove the plastic cover around the clock and to peel off the green fake time strip from the face of the clock.

My wife and I like a clock in our bedroom across the room so we know the time if we awake in the dark. This Chaney clock is perfect. Easily read with its just under 2" numbers shaded green. Highly recommended. When your dogs wake you, you can see it's time to take them out or tell them to just "roll over!"Customer Review: Easy to see

I like this clock because the digits are large and bright. Most clocks like this give off too much light; somehow this one doesn't do that. The room stays dark, yet I can see the time easily. So far, so good.
