Received this and followed instructions to the letter. My first order of this item. Does not pressurize the container after pumping, in fact, leaks air around top area where supposed to be sealed ... and I have the pumper mechanism fully screwed in. Not sure if it is missing some part during assembly, but based on my experience, I will not buy this item again and will go to another product vendor.
I'm really PO'd lately with junk products or ones that come broken. Amazon has been good, but I wonder about the vendors' products and quality anymore.

I saw a similar 1 gal sprayer @ a local garden center but bought this one from amazon combining it with a video series to get free shipping on both items. The video is delightful, the sprayer is almost. The reviews encouraged me and they might encourage you to buy this sprayer, just proceed with the following information. It's noisy, yes noisy. When pumping air into the container, I am subjected to a loud squeaking(for want of a better word) noise. I prefer to do my spraying on the balcony early a.m. but don't because I don't want to annoy my neighbors, it is that loud.
If I had bought this sprayer at the local garden center, I would return it for another and if that too was noisy, I would return it for a refund. The trouble to return this to amazon and wait the turn around time of 2-3 weeks or so just isn't worth the effort...and what if that one squeaks too?
Yes it sprays and the idea is as convenient as I imagined, but I can't recommend this one highly...it's just ok. Of course shipping by amazon was, as usual, great.

This proves why the Amazon reviews are so helpful. I would have been hesitant to order this at this price - fearing it would be cheap and easily broken. But this is one sturdy sprayer.
I had been using a one quart hand-held without the sprayer hose. I got tired of the constant refilling - 3 or 4 fills for each session of spraying. I have a big deer and rabbit problem in my gardens, so I spray A LOT of pepper spray and deer repellent.
The pump top locks down and doubles as the carrying handle. The sprayer hose is a perfect length and the adjustable spray makes it easy to get the coverage you need. This makes my spraying so much easier and faster.
At this price I can have one for each product I spray and keep a filled bottle of each handy in the garage.

I used this all summer with complete success. It did not clog one time or require anything other than use and put back on the shelf. I have no reason to beleive its useful life is over, but even if it were, this was a good investment. Great product, especially for the money.
