I happened to stop by my British friend's house and she opened the door wearing a lovely striped butcher's apron and I thought....Hmmmm - Me Likes! So as the delicious smell of bacon and eggs wafted out from her kitchen, I decided right there and then that I had to have one. Very happy with this apron I found on Amazon. While its not exactly the same as a British Butchers apron, its close and the price was good. As some other reviewers noted the neck strap is a bit long and probably more suited for a man, but I will probably dig out my needle and thread and adjust mine sometime in the next 10 years...or maybe just use a bulldog clip.Customer Review: It's an apron

Favorite part of this apron is the soft material -not stiff. Length goes to middle of knees. I'm 5' 8". Long strings I can wrap around and tie in front!
Only washed a couple times- can't speak for durability yet. No fraying after washing...still looks new. Favorite apron ever owned!
