I have not set the coat rack up yet so I don't know on the quality of the coat rack. I do however know that I chose to buy mine from visiondecor because they were the cheapest. They said I should get it in about a week but it took like 3 weeks and no one even contacted me to tell me why. I had to call them to see if it was even coming. When I got it it didn't even have the right pieces. I had a hard time getting a hold of anyone to help me. I finally did and they said they shipped the part. I was asked to leave feedback for the item so I stated that the company was late shipping it and then that I didn't even get all the pieces to it. Once I left the bad feedback someone contacted me by email offering me the money I paid for shipping back if I removed the feedback. No one even cared to offer me anything until I left negative feedback. I declined. I received the part and it was the wrong one!!! Now I just want to send the thing back and get a full refund for everything. They would not agree to that so they offered to send me a whole new coat rack if I removed my feedback. I was sick of the whole deal so I did agreed. Hopefully someone will read this and not by from them!!!!!Customer Review: Flimsy construction, terrible instructions

This coat rack will be lucky to survive the winter. The wood feels like balsa, it is so light the screw heads will pull completely through it. I imagine that hanging a single coat of any weight will cause this thing to topple over. The ring pieces are cheap brown plastic, and the center post screw-in connectors stripped out when I tightened them. The topper was that the package was several screws short on a crucial piece, and I had to use mismatched junk screws I had around the house. If I had this to do over again, I would go to a yard sale or a secondhand store, and buy a sturdy used one for $10.00.Customer Review: Its a Coat Rack

It isn't exaclty what i expected. But it works. It looks nice. And holds a lot of coats and doesn't tip over. It serves its purpose. Are there better quality coat racks? yes. But for this price, its worth it.Customer Review: Not bad for the price

[We have not assembled this yet but DID get and assemble an identical one in oak. The same comments apply to both.]
This coat rack is not as nice as one we got in England, which unfortunately toppled and broke after 10 years' service, but it is functional and my husband likes it.
The British one had rounded, solid hooks and NO plastic. This version is a bit more like a cheap imitation, with bentwood hooks and a plastic umbrella holder.
But it was a good compromise when I could not find a top quality replacement, and for the price it was well worth trying out. (But you do get what you pay for!)
So far it works ok but ask me again in winter when it's laden with heavy coats!
