I purchased this product about 3 wks ago. I was very excited about this steamer. I plugged it in and it heated up very quickly. The steam pressure is very good for the 1st couple of minutes and then it fizzles out. I think there is something wrong with the pressure cover. It doesn't screw on tightly and I'm not sure if that is effecting the length of time for the pressure. The 1st 3-4 minutes are great. I just haven't got around to calling the vendor.Customer Review: All purpose steam cleaner?

I researched this type of cleaner and went by reviews here. Product arrival was quick and price was right. However, be aware that you really should have earplugs when using this if you have sensitive ears! Steam burst noise is quite loud,sounding like one is in a garment factory where steam pressers are on all day. Also if you have "hard water", you might want to use distilled water or have a water softener so that the unit does not clog. I used the steam cleaner in the bathroom on the vanity and on the tiles. I did not notice any significant difference and finally used the brush attachment after just using the steamer itself. It was slow going and cleaned the tiles and vanity top ok, not great. Directions given could be a bit more graphic and specific. The knob to pour water in is hard to screw and unscrew, perhaps, a safety feature? It takes a while to get the cap on and off. I had to keep pressing down on it to unscrew, after releasing the steam as directions stated. On the plus side, the unit is very sturdy, does heat up quickly. The bursts of steam are quick and steady. This unit is good for small jobs as other reviews have stated. I intend to try to other tools and hopefully cleaning will be better. Despite all, you still may have to used other products to finish off the job. For the price it is not bad, patience using it is necessary. Follow directions carefully as you are using steam which can be quite powerful. I did not find, however, that the steam cleaned that great. The escaping steam noise made you think so. Would I buy this product again? Yes, but as stated, use has its limits. Sometimes, old fashioned methods may work better!Customer Review: Amazing cleaning power!

After reading the reviews on Amazon, I was excited to give this steam cleaner a try. I am SO glad I did! In addition to all of the other reviewers' uses and comments, let me tell you my favorite use: getting hairspray off of bathroom surfaces! A quick blast of steam, a simple wipe, and the built-up hairspray is GONE. I really like hairspray, but had to spray with cleaners and wipe multiple times to get rid of the build-up. My toilet seat looks like new, the baseboards and trim are absolutely clean. It's amazing!Customer Review: Are we reviewing the same machine?

My hopes were completely dashed. Reading these glowing reviews, I just knew I had found the answer to cleaning the grout in my tile flooors. Wrong. It did NOTHING except spray some steam, and it did that with very puny pressure.
When I looked up the seller's return policy, it shows a restocking fee for any opened merchandise whatsoever--they probably count on no one returning a $20 item. Not only that, but the seller put no contact info on the sales slip--NONE. I had to go back to the order to hunt them down.
This is the kind of appliance you get for $20, and I should have known better.

I agree with another review...This does not get hot enough. It makes a lot of steam but not hotter than the shower I take. It doesn't remove mildew or clean anything.
