This infuriating little alarm clock arrived rapidly, was effortless to remove from packaging, and was a genuine Nanda product. I had no trouble getting the battery door open or setting the time and alarm, which only needs to be set once, not reset daily.
However, when it finally hit 5:30 a.m., this little devil starting making the LOUDEST robotic screeches I have ever heard. It had me out of bed and dashing across the room within seconds to make it SHUT UP. The second time it went off I had it on my nightstand, and was so quick to react to that awful noise that I reached out and caught it before it hit the floor. For a lazy nightowl college student, this thing's alarm alone makes it akin to a tiny drill sergeant. I've tried countless analog, digital, and even smartphone alarms to get me up and running in the morning, but nothing except Clocky has had an alarm that was loud or disturbing enough to wake me up more than to stir around until I could find the snooze button. Even when placed across the room, regular alarms aren't bothersome enough to merit getting out of bed. This thing, however, had me going into such an irritated rage that I could only glare back at it sitting innocently on the bedside table as I trudged to the shower.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend it to those who have small children, nervous pets, or live within 100 meters of angry neighbors. For everyone else who needs an electric shock to wake up, this thing's like a swift kick in the behind that will make you hate it so much, you'll find yourself looking forward to the opportunity to triumphantly beat it into silent submission every morning.

I got mine today. I tested it and I really like it so far. It might even get me out of bed the first time around. Clocky is really small. And the screw on the back of her, is super annoying. However there is one cool feature I figured out. If you set it down upside down and will roll itself til it's right side up again. Clocky Alarm Clock is wonderful. At first my daughter (10yrs) thought it was so cool. however, I find these days she would rather not have it because it really gets her up and out of bed for school. Great for me. :)
