Customer Review: Awful customer support from Nanda

This was a fun and useful product until it broke (runs away, but stopped making any alarm sound). I was past the return period from the store where I bought it so I contacted Nanda for warranty service. And I contacted Nanda again. And I contacted Nanda again. I emailed them. I called them on the phone. I even wrote a letter (a real honest to goodness letter - you know, with a stamp). Every time I spoke to someone, they said they would have to get back in touch with me, but they never did. Always apologetic, but never solving the problem. It's too bad. They obviously are a small company and I was rooting for them. They don't seem to be run very well. Nanda, if you're listening, it's and I would still like a working Clocky. I bought the clocky alarm clock because my high school son has a really hard time getting up in the morning. The first one didn't move but was really loud. Amazon sent out a replacement clock before they got the defective one back which was great because I needed an obnoxious alarm clock. And this clock is VERY OBNOXIOUS. I can hear it in my room. It starts out loud and then if no one turns off the alarm it rolls off the night stand on to the floor still blaring. By the time the clock rolls off the table my son is up.
The 2 items of note - it does not automatically reset. Once you shut off the alarm you have to remember to turn the alarm/wheels back on again. The other item is - don't put it too close to the bed. My son sometimes turns off the alarm within that first minute before he gets out of bed & then falls back asleep.

I have had a lot of alarm clocks break on me in the past few years, and so far Clocky is going strong! The sound wakes me instantly without being jarring. Clocky's noises are so cute, you can't be mad at him. This is the best alarm clock for someone like me who has a hard time waking up.
