Tools and Hardware Reviews of ClosetMaid 8697 Fabric Drawer, NaturalCustomer Review: Sturdy and Affordable Summary: 4 Stars
This closetmaid drawer is practical and affordable. I used it in my livingroom shelves to hide items that we don't necessarily want guests to see (batteries, notecards, instruction manuals, etc.). I would recommend these for public areas to store your belongings in a casual and affordable way. The fabric is surprisingly sturdy.
Customer Review: Tan Bin Summary: 4 Stars
It does its job but could be a little better quality. When you use them as toy bins the kids pull them in and out and they get very distorted easily. Received product exactly as shown.
Customer Review: nice and big but.... Summary: 3 Stars
good price i think and is right size for what i wanted and came promptly and other colors i bought were great, but the pic made it look like it was white and thats what i wanted but the color is actually a yellow tan. and i realize it says natural but they need a better pic of it so you can really see it b4 you buy. the red one i got is a little orange red but still great. i also got a blue set hasn't come in yet.
Customer Review: ok, as expected. Summary: 3 Stars
This item is pretty much exactly what it claims to be.
However, there are better ones on the market.
The only negative, is that this item may be hard to clean.
I am guessing that it has cardboard between layers of cloth, meaning trying to clean it with water (or steam) could be difficult.
If ease of cleaning is important, I have seen similar items that look far easier to clean.
IKea and Land of Nod, both have similar items, that do not contain cardboard.
(The ones I got from Land of Nod may have cardboard in the removable bottom piece, but the main container seems to be just cloth, with maybe wire (or plastic rods) along the top to help the container maintain shape.
