This Coleman cable (red, 100') works just fine. I'd recommend getting something to wind it up with manually (cord reel), because otherwise it gets tangled and takes forever to unwind. It did take a long time to arrive by ground (FYI).Customer Review: Gets the job done

I have to say that this is a pretty good cord. Flexible and powerful, I use it for both my B&D Lawn Hog as well as a Stihl weed whacker. Only one issue with it and part of it is my fault. The little grounding plug isn't attached in there all that well. So if you get busy working on your yard and accidentally reach 100ft a couple of times, that ground plug comes right off. That's why I give it 4 stars, because it does the job well, but it doesn't handle mistakes you might make judging distance very well!Customer Review: Good extension cord

Bought this for my Black & Decker Mower and Black & Decker grass trimmer that I also got off of Amazon. Both do not include a power cable, so you'll need something like this.
As gauge gets smaller the cable gets bigger. So 16 gauge cable is smaller than 12 gauge. 14 is right in the middle. Bigger cables can take more power (amps). The mower is 6.5 amps and the trimmer is something less than that, so this cable is plenty for either of them (not at the same time.. although it might do that just fine, who knows.. I wouldn't try it).
Easy to tug around, fits snugly in both devices and is bright to see and easy to coil. Couldn't really ask for more.
