Customer Review: A used blanket?

I ordered two of these blankets for my daughters for Christmas. I didn't open the package until Christmas Eve. Upon opening, it was clearly obvious that the blankets were not the same. One was soft and new, the other was lighter in color and had clearly been used. I called customer service (some where in India, I think) and was told that they would replace the blanket that had been used, but since it was out of stock, I would have to wait until they had inventory (some time in mid-January I was told, but he couldn't be sure). I told him that other colors of the blanket were available on the Amazon web site and that I would take another color of the blanket as a replacement. The customer service representative told me that I could return the used blanket and reorder the new blanket from the web site. OK, but the new blanket is more expensive now, and I would like to reorder it at the same price I originally paid. He told me he could not match the price for the new blanket that I paid for the old blanket. Really??? I'm sent a used blanket that I'm going to return and you won't honor the price and send me a new blanket in a different color to replace the old one??? I asked for a supervisor. He told me that the clearly I didn't understand what he was saying, that there was nothing the supervisor could do for me and insinuated that I was not very smart. Really???? So let me get this straight, I'm a little dumb because I don't want a used blanket and would like a replacement for the same price that I originally paid for the first one? Wow! I told him I understood exactly what he was saying, but was not happy with the outcome of the transaction. Upon reaching a supervisor, I was told that I my Amazon account would be credited for the difference in price and that I would be emailed a shipping label to send back the old one. Was that so hard??? No, but as an Amazon Prime customer who spends thousands of dollars a year on this site it really has left a very bad impression. Please improve your customer service or I will take my business elsewhere.
So check your blankets carefully. If I hadn't ordered two blankets I would have had nothing to compare the second one to.
