While these socks are comfortable and do look exactly like the picture, I was a little disappointed -- they will not do much to align a foot. However, they are great for painting toenails while moisturizing feet/heels! The directions recommend wearing them for short periods of time until you're used to them -- I had no problems and could sleep all night in them right off the bat. I think if they were really doing some "alignment" (or were more profoundly seperating the toes, like "Yoga Toes" or something like that) you would have to work up to all night.
