Tools and Hardware Reviews of Crawford-Lehigh LA84P-1 Large Capacity Deluxe Parallel Clothes DryerCustomer Review: AWESOME Energy Saver Summary: 5 Stars
I was looking for something like this for a while, as the price of electricity is TOO HIGH and I wanted to try to save.
This Clothes Dryer is not only compact, the folding ability is wonderful, but is also VERY durable. I had two loads of clothes on it that got rained on and it still held up!
This was a great buy and I recommend it highly!
Customer Review: Arrives with many unexpected rewards. Summary: 5 Stars
It arrives already assembled, with a removable socket; only digging the hole and pouring cement is required. This clothesline is ideal for limited yard space, even though it has a diameter of 84". you can stand in one place and hang your clothes, by spinning the clothes line dryer around to reach empty lines, and take them down in the same manner. I can hang 4 wash loads and there is still a lot of space left for more! I saved $80 my first month of not using my electric clothes dryer.
Customer Review: Best $$ I've spent in a long time! Summary: 5 Stars
What an awesome item! I used one bag of premixed concrete to anchor the pole in the ground and off we went. We have used this inexpensive clothes line weekly, saving the energy and cost of many dryer loads!
Customer Review: Best portable clothes dryer Summary: 4 Stars
After reading all the reviews, I purchased this clothes dryer. I have been wanting one for a very long time. I followed the instructions for burying in the ground. I gave it a 4 star because it came out of the ground after I had poured the concrete on it
when I used it for the first time. After that little disappointment, I cleverly came up with a plan that would kill 2 birds with one stone. I had wanted a cooking area for my bbq grill to sit on(concrete platform) so I dug out a 6x6 area for that and planted the pole in the same hole that I had originally dug (along with the concrete that was still on the pole) and dug a little deeper around that area and made my platform. I let it set for a week before I used it(giving it time to really dry) and to my surprise when I used it today, it didn't move. Now when I have a cook out, I can just fold up the dryer and it's out of the way and no one knows that I hang my clothes outside. I love how you can stand in one place and the clothes come to you. Despite the extra little work I had to do for it, it was a worth while investment in helping out the planet while the planet helps me dry my clothes.
Customer Review: Broke within a few months Summary: 2 Stars
This worked well for a couple of months but now is broken. The arms of the dryer are attached by plastic brackets which have now broken and become detached. The dryer will no longer stay up. Admittedly this could be to do with our southern California sun making the plastic brittle but I would still expect a product to last a little longer than 3 months. For the price though I guess what did I expect!
