Tools and Hardware Reviews of Crawford-Lehigh LA84P-1 Large Capacity Deluxe Parallel Clothes DryerCustomer Review: GREAT clothes dryer! Summary: 5 Stars
Couldn't be more pleased. It is sturdy, and easy to assemble. Was worried about the capacity, but holds 2 -3 loads just fine! Have been hanging laundry outside for 30+ years, 12 months a year, as the weather here is fairly mild in the winter. This is the best clothes dryer I've owned.
Customer Review: Go Green! Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this clothesline to save energy, and it does do that - except for the considerable amount that it takes to put it up and down. I have gone to just leaving it in the open position. I was hoping I could have it folded up most of the time, and only open it when I'm using it once a weekor so. Bit it's really not that easy to do. The price was very good, and it's good enough quality, except that it's hard to get the lines taut enough to not sag when you hang things on them. Still, save yourself money and get one of these; they don't take up much room and it's FUN to hang out clothes, especially sheets, blankets, etc.
Customer Review: Going Green Summary: 5 Stars
My umbrella clothes line is light wt. and durable. It was easy to cement the base in the ground. I love it.
Customer Review: Good Lines... and lots of em! Summary: 4 Stars
This is an easy to install wash line and it has a lot of lines! I can fit almost 4 loads on there. And it is wide enough for the King sized bedding too. Very handy and very easy to use... love all it's features and the fact it comes all put together. Try it!
But it does not hold up to strong wind...
Customer Review: Good alternative to our electric dryer Summary: 4 Stars
The setup of this dryer was easy and straightforward. It has performed well for us over the past three weeks or so since I installed it. It holds 3 or 4 loads of laundry for us (fewer if there are a lot of towels or sheets).
The only "flaw" I see with it is that the tension of the line is a bit tedious to adjust and it does not seem to hold the tension real well. In the end, it does not negatively affect the performance.
This is a good, inexpensive way to dry clothing and keep some electricity or gas from being used.
