This thing is perfect. First faucet filter that I buy and I'm glad I trusted the reviews in Amazon, rather than buying other more popular brands.
The filter is easy to mount and makes clean and tasty water.
Now I have the convenience of not having to carry gallons of water from the shop and I also save money - it will make 200 gallons with one filter, so your cost is less than $0.10 for a gallon of clean, fresh water.
The manual says to replace it every 200 gallons or 2 months, but I calculated I use about 30 gallons a month and I'm using the filter for 4 months already without any decrease of water quality or speed.
The only cons that I could think of is that the water flow is a bit slow as other reviews also noted, but that's not a issue for me at all. I would like if it removed fluorides too, but I understand that this is a feature of the more advanced and expensive reverse osmosis systems.
The verdict - if you want convenient, cheap, clean and fresh water, look no further - buy this filter!

For the longest time we'd owned and used a GE SmartWater faucet filter. Don't know why GE decided to abandon a nice product, but they did. Having no replacement filters for the GE, we purchased a PUR filter. DO NOT BUY A PUR filter. TERRIBLE product; poorly designed. After 2 weeks needed to replace the PUR. Opted for the well rated (Amazon.com) Culligan. Install was easy. It came with a fresh new filter which was also TERRIBLE !! Water flowed through the new filter at an alarming rate and water quality was HORRIFIC. Took a last gamble on Culligan, that their original filter was malfunctioning. Ordered one replacement from Amazon. Thank goodness this one worked. I guess pride in product and quality is a thing of the past, and consumers pay the price.Customer Review: A great alternative to others on the market

I love this filter. It attached easily to my faucet and it DOESN'T LEAK! The water tastes great. I love that it's easy to transfer from the tap water to the filtered water just by pulling out the metal pin. I have mobility problems and this is by far the easiest faucet filter I've used.Customer Review: A great filter at a great price

The filter was easy to install. It only took me a few minutes. The water tastes great and it doesn't leak. It is small enough that I have no problem filling a big pot with water. I reached this on-faucet filter after trying several others. This one is terrific---the only drawback is the water flow is somewhat slow, but since I rarely need to draw more than a pint of filtered water, I can live with that. Here's why I think so highly of this filter:
The Brita, Pur, and Waterpik on-faucet filters all attached to the faucet with a threaded fitting made of soft plastic. Within a few days the result is that the fitting begins to leak with a fine spray of water each time the filter is used. Within a few weeks, if you bump the filter it will simply fall off the faucet. It turns out that soft plastic is not a good materials for a threaded, load-bearing fitting.
The Instapure F-2C Teledyne Water Pik Faucet Water Filter, Chrome does have a threaded metal fitting for the attachment and attaches securely: no leaks at all. Unfortunately, that filter removes ONLY chlorine taste and odor: it is not effective at all as a filter for lead or microorganisms.
The Culligan FM-15A Level 3 filter DOES remove lead and microorganisms, it attaches securely with a threaded metal filling, and it doesn't leak. It is a winner. The slow flow is not a problem in practice.
