Tools and Hardware Reviews of Culligan FM-15A Level 3 Faucet Filter

Customer Review: BEST KEPT SECRET
Summary: 5 Stars

After researching many faucet filters, this one got the best reviews and was the cheapest. I've gone the Brita route, and the PUR filter was reduced to a trickle after only a few weeks. The Culligan not only provides a steady stream, but the taste is incredible! We've had it for about a month and the water quality is so much improved my wife has admitted to drinking more water now! The automatic reset when you shut off the faucet is a great little feature too!

Customer Review: Bad water pressure
Summary: 2 Stars

I bought the Culligan Level 3 faucet filter. It was easy to install and use ,it just doesn't have the water pressure I like. I takes forever to fill up a gallon jar. This is an important feature for me. As for the taste, the water tastes fine I just want more pressure. When I used another brand, the pressure was great but I didn't like the taste of the product.

Customer Review: Beats Brita !!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

For years I used the Brita faucet filter. Brita replaced the unit for failure on one occasion and I replaced it more then once. the batteries which let you know when to change the filter would malfunction frequently and good filters where switched when not necessary. Plus mounting them was extremely difficult on both faucets we had in the kitchen. The Culligan filter was very easy to mount and the water was , in my and my wife's opinion more thoroughly filtered. We use the water for ice cubes and with Brita a lot of sediment always was present in the ice. Not with Culligan-none at all. Outstanding product not many people aware of.

Customer Review: Beats all competition!
Summary: 5 Stars

We've tried both Brita and Pur faucet mounted filters. Neither company makes a quality product in this catagory, nor offers them at a reasonable price.

This Culligan filter was a refreshingly quality product. We are actually very happy with it. It comes with a metal (not plastic!) faucet adaptor that attached securely, something we've had a problem with in the past.

The filter capacity is 200 gallons, more than other brands offer. While there is no gauge to measure filter life, my experience is that those gauges are prone to breaking. You can tell easily by the flow rate when a filter needs replacement. These replacement filters are reasonably priced.

Love it!

Customer Review: Below expectations
Summary: 3 Stars

I thought I did my research on this item, and knew what I was getting. But even though it works, it was easily installed and has no leaks, I am less than satisfied.
The water is obviously not getting the filtering I would prefer, since my kettle still collects limescale and occasionally there are 'bits' floating in my ice water.
The diverter valve does not automatically go back to faucet as promised, I always have to push button back in if I want the full pressure, unfiltered faucet.
Other than that, not much to say. It was certainly priced right, and I got what I paid for. But I may yet go back to a filtered pitcher, it did a better job.
