Tools and Hardware Reviews of Culligan FM-15A Level 3 Faucet Filter

Customer Review: Best product
Summary: 5 Stars

Love it. Did a lot of research to get the mostest for the leastest. This is it. best filtering for the lowest cost per gallon. Also i find it more convenient than a pitcher type of water filter.

Customer Review: Best water filter by far!
Summary: 5 Stars

We've tried Brita & Pur in the past - some would pop off the sink leaving us splattered in water, some would crack and spray water from different areas, they never last. So far I'm very happy with this Culligan. Once properly mounted we never have to worry about getting sprayed all over with water. I love that it resets itself so when you turn the faucet on next it's regular tap water again. I plan to replace the filter as recommended, ever 2 months, to keep this one in top form. And speaking of filters, replacements are so much cheaper than those Brita replacement filters. I'm recommending this baby to everyone I know.

Customer Review: Best water filter by far!!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I am so sick and tired of having to buy the entire faucet system every single month. It should be the filter that needs to be change monthly or whenever but in my case it's the entire faucet system. First, my mom bought Brita. That didn't last long....really terrible. Next is the PUR brand. This is the worse than Brita. First of all, the black cap which you screw to the faucet head to connect to the filter system is made of hard plastic. This easily break though. I'll tell you why this break. The filter system accumulates inside in time making the filter heavy. Then it keeps on dropping because of the weight. You need to open it and empty it!!! now the plastic adapter breaks down because of repeated assault of dropping.

Culligan, however, the cap you screw to the faucet head is made of metal plus it is already attached to the filter head not like on PUR which is a separate piece. The filter system which houses the cartridge does not accumulate water therefore it saves you time on having it empty all the time and reduces the incidence of the filter system from dropping because of the weight.

So far we don't have any problem whatsoever with this filter. The size is small compared to other brands. [...]

Thanks for your time reading my review.

Customer Review: Better than Brita and PUR
Summary: 5 Stars

I first bought a Brita over the faucet filter. It started spewing water all over the place after about 6 months of use. Then I bought a PUR over the faucet filter. The plastic grooves became stripped and it would no longer stay on the faucet anymore after 6 months. Then I bought this Culligan filter - I have had it for 18 months and it still works great. The housing is steel, so it is much sturdier; it is fairly small and doesn't get in the way; and the water tastes great. Now, I just have to figure out what to do with all my Brita and PUR replacement filters...

Customer Review: Better than Brita for less $$$
Summary: 5 Stars

A 4 pack of Brita filters goes for about $20 and lasts for 160 gallons. Add the pitcher in and you're out even more cash.

This costs $17 or so, and the replacement cartridges are only $11. Each lasts 200 gallons. If this thing comes anywhere close to meeting its claims, it's a a better choice for longevity alone. Plus you always have water when you want it, no more refilling that stupid pitcher over and over again.
