Tools and Hardware Reviews of Culligan ISH-100 Level 2 Inline Shower FilterCustomer Review: EFFECTIVE PRODUCT Summary: 5 Stars
I suspected that the main cause of my dandruff problems is the water coming out from the shower. So I tried this product, and I've been so happy that I did! Now the water I'm showering with is probably much cleaner now. My dandruff is now gone! Thanks to this shower filter.
Customer Review: Easy Install Summary: 5 Stars
My water system was recently changed and in an attempt to rid my hives (presumably cause by the water) I purchased this product. The filter was easily installed with a crescent wrench and was immediately usable with no leaks. Included with the product was a small spool of white 'pipe tape' (not sure what it's called)- handy for preventing leaks. Very happy thus far.
Customer Review: Easy To Install But Not Much Of A Difference Summary: 2 Stars
I recently moved and noticed that my hair was suffering from the "hard" water. I have purchased a shower filter in the past and did notice a difference (I dont remember the brand). However, with this Culligan filter I do not notice a difference in my hair. It was quite easy to install, and the tape is provided, but I dont think I will purchase refills for this filter, instead I will purchase a different kind.
Customer Review: Florida Summary: 5 Stars
The product works great. I am on county water and did not think it was that bad until I started showering with this filter...my hair and skin are much softer. My husband had it installed it about 2 minutes. We have used it for more than a month and love it.
Customer Review: Gets rid of that heavy chlorine smell Summary: 4 Stars
The chlorine smell in the water at my house was overpowering. The bathroom area stunk like chlorine for hours after any shower, and the hard water was... well hard.
This helped with both - the chlorine smell is non-existent and the water is much softer (which makes rinsing soap off much easier).
The only real drawbacks are: It's ugly... really it's not very attractive at all.... and it severely limits the movements you can make with the head due to it's shape.
One other side note - while I wouldn't call it delicate - you do have to use some care when adjusting your shower head - as you could break the plastic if not careful. A metal version would probably be sturdy and better looking.
