I ordered my filter from amazon along with some books so I was able to take advantage of the free shipping offer. I was a tad concerened to see that the shower head would be mounted on the filter that seems to be made of some pvc like plastic (I don't know if its pvc or not). But as long as you are carefull to line up the shower head's threaded part correctly with the plastic threaded part you should be ok to install it. Also pick up some teflon tape at the local hardware store to prevent leaking and use a monkey wrench total installation time for me was under 5 minutes since I had all my tools with me before I started.Customer Review: It works very well!

It is wonderful, and it works in my skin, in my hair, and in my eyes. Never more I will open my eyes to chlorine - bleach water. Now, it is a pleasure to be under the shower for many minutes. I recommend it to everyone who wants healthy skin and healthy hair.Customer Review: Itch-be-gone!

Our main purpose in purchasing this product was to get rid of that dang "itch" we got after showering. Sure enough, worked like a charm! We have hard water and the city adds quite a bit of chlorine, but this fixed it right up. My wife and I have both noticed that we no longer get "the itch" after showering. Our local water is treated with Chloramine. Although it doesn have much of a chlorine odor, it is somewhat harsh on hair. I was expecting the filter to minimize the affect and make the water less harsh, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.
