This filter gets it all but leaves the minerals, which is exactly what you want. Our tap water is sucked out of the Neches River in Texas and I have been to the site where the pipes enter the water--unbelievably gross. Who knows what has been dumped into it upstream for hundreds of miles. This filter is so efficient that you cannot tell, in blind taste test, between it and Ozarka Spring Water. Oh so much easier to change filters...spectacularly easy! The water even runs a little faster than with my prior filter and it won't burst the casing and leak all over the floor of the cupboard and destroy it...I highly recomment this product. Using this device to filter city water which has been softened works great.
It tastes as good as the R/O water I used to have. The flow is only
slightly slower than what I got from my R/O tank. I'm no longer wasting
the "rinse water" that was continuously running down the drain with the R/O system.
Filter is very easy to replace.

The filter is very easy to change. The water tastes very good from this filter. It is the most reasonable filter I have found for an under the sink system. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because of the battery that they have you install to tell you when to change the filter. This battery does not tell you that the filter is dirty and needs replacing.It comes on at some arbitrary time. Mine came on at 5 Months. I was curious so I removed the battery and reinstalled it. It reset and did not come on again. I assume if I left the filter in for 10 Months, it would have come on again.
