Way too much chlorine in my city water, but this filter cuts the chlorine smell and makes my hair softer. It doesn't affect my water pressure at all, but I bought the showerhead that this filter is meant to be used with.Customer Review: CAN tell a difference!!

The short and sweet of this filter for me is simply this. I live in a rural setting. Water has to be piped for miles to get to me.
The water quality actually changed from day to day. Now I have a consistency, without a smell or a problem worrying about what I am washing myself with. I actually feel that it helps the skin by keeping pollutants down to a minimum. Does seem to make you feel healthier, but could be a psychological thing? Therefore without more "scientific evidence" I can only give it 4 star.

I could immediately feel the difference in water quality when I recently replace the filter after 9 months (about 3 overdue). The water is especially contaminated where I live in Orlando so this is essential and makes the water feel, work, and taste better. Excellent product! If you're in the market for one of these, buy this one!
I have had mine now for 2 months & must say it is the best we have ever had! I read all the reviews before buying & when it arrived, there was no problem adjusting it, no problem with it leaking, no problem with a "small spray radius."
It is simply the best thing since sliced bread! Once again, I can use shower steam to help clear my lungs when I am congested, like when I was a kid. I'm 50 now & have chronic chemical respiratory problems, along with heavy metals toxicity from being so near the Gulf... Adding the chlorine just made me vomit. I became so sensitive to the chlorine fumes & effect on my skin that it prompted me to buy this product.
I have long hair past my shoulders & have not had to use conditioner on it since the very first shower without the chlorine! Both my husband & I have remarked over how our skin no longer tightens when we dry off after a shower. My feet stay soft & I don't need as much lotion.
Fabulous product! Excellent Value! I have bought the showerhead & 2 spare refills, as we plan to take this with us when we leave...

Customer Review: Culligan Handheld showerhead with filter

My granddaughter has long thick hair which makes it difficult for her to shampoo properly. This product allows her to rinse both the dirt and the shampoo out of her hair. But, my daughter says that she is hooked on it too because the filter doesn't allow the hard water to dry her skin out. The way they are raving, I think I will have to get myself one soon.
